Battlax BT 016 Pro

With the Battlax BT 016 Pro Bridgestone presented at the Intermot in Cologne also an optimized version of the Battlax BT 016th The new version should have been improved, especially in the wet grip and mileage criteria.

Maximum grip thanks to MotoGP Technology:

Front and rear wheel of the new Battlax BT 016 Pro have the famous Stone Bridge Multi-layer compound technology. On two wheels, two different rubber compounds in 3LC (Three Layer Compound) methods are built: the mixture in the center of the tread provides good braking power transfer on the front wheel and high traction and mileage on the rear wheel, the rubber compound on the tire shoulder is responsible for maximum grip at an angle.

In BT 016 Pro used rubber blends were developed from scratch and give the BT 016 Pro further improved wet grip, while increasing the mileage. The technology used is "Silica Rich EX (high silica content in the mixture) and" RC Polymer "is used. "RC Polymer" supports the silica effect while controlling the temperature-dependent change of the mix.

Construction

The design of front and rear based on Bridgestone's proven HTSPC platform (High Tensile Super Penetrated Cord) with steel belt MSB (Mono Spiral Belt). Thanks to this structure controlling the line of slides and loyalty can be optimized in curves, without losing any good shock absorption must. The increased rigidity of the design helps maintain a constant contact area and stability at high speeds. The profile of the Battlax BT 016 Pro was compared to BT 016 unchanged.
